I had a great experience using Brisbane Shade & Sails. The work went very smoothly and the sail over my driveway looks amazing. Stephen, who did the installation, was extremely competent and went above and beyond in his relocation of the dug-out earth to my back yard. I strongly recommend this company if you want shade sails.
Brisbane Shade & Sails were always courteous and professional. We're very happy with our shade sail.
From the start it took months to come out and quote, was given 3 different prices for the same job, each time getting dearer. After I mentioned this they came back with a price I agreed on. While on-site the rep recommended a size that was way too big, I asked if it was too big, his response was no. So I moved forward with things and got a form 15 for engineering through them, only to find out it wasn’t even close to being a legal size structure. I reduced the size(which was similar to what I was originally asking for), then they wanted more money from me to do up a new form15 and also increased the price of the sail and install by a few thousand dollars. Thanks Brisbane shade sail for wasting my time and money.

2021 was the first time I asked for a quote (so not sure where this 2015 date came from), at which time I asked for a quote and asked if the info I provided was enough for a quote or did someone need to come and have a look.
Brisbane shade sail proceeded to give me a site unseen quote.
I was happy with the price and was looking at preceding further, then Brisbane shade sail wanted to come and do an on-site quote was arranged after multiple date changes for quoting from brisbane shade sails, Glen finally made it to site.
Just to clear up, the certifier said size should be ok, trying to work with me to get the recommended size by Brisbane shade sail through council.
Not once was the sewer mains going along the front of our property an issue, the issue and many phone calls was triggered due to the sail being too big. Also the certifier never drew/amended any plans.
Brisbane shade sails can you please provide me with what the maximum size is that council will allow for a structure built at the front of a property in Petrie, Moreton bay shire?????
I thought it a bit unfair that I proceeded with engineering after advice from Brisbane shade that the size will be ok and no mention of extra fees if it gets knocked back from council.
In regards to deposit it was arranged with Glen that I pay deposit in person once council had given the go ahead, no mention of price rises, until I asked the question after my trust for Brisbane shade sail was declining.
FYI with price rises I managed to find a price that was close to your amended on site visit quote, after only calling one other person.

Well done Brisbane Shade and Sails. Had a great experience purchasing and installing a new giant outdoor umbrella from you. The sales person visiting, in first instance, was very knowledgeable and actually persuaded us to go with a different umbrella than we had in mind. In hindsight, his suggestion was spot on and we ended up with a better solution for the area we installed the umbrella on. They were also well priced versus some other quotes we received.
The office was great at communicating throughout the process, which is something you rarely get these days. They were realistic with timelines and actually delivered the umbrella a week earlier than promised.
The installation team was also great and took the time to demonstrate how to use the umbrella and provided some good advice on looking after the umbrella to get the most out of it.
Most importantly the umbrella is well made and looks really good. It's very easy to operate and swivel and has a great addition to our entertainment area.
Definitely recommend Brisbane Shade and Sail. Well done.

I just had my outdoor patio enclosed with Zip Lock Outdoor blinds. (see attached photos).
The installation team that installed the blinds were great as was the quality of their work from them. Any little issues I spotted they had it fixed.
The Brisbane Shade and Sail office team were very helpful with their responses to any of my questions regarding the Zip lock Blinds which included the quote cost.
I would not hesitate at all to recommend this company if you need outdoor blinds especially Zip lock ones.

Absolutely fantastic company to deal with. After a number of companies didn't show up to quote or did and seemed to think it was all a bit too hard we hit gold with Brisbane Shade Sails. From our first contact with their sales rep to the last part of the install their professionalism was outstanding. Kylie in the office was great to deal with and updated us on the progress and install dates.They guys who did the install were fantastic and the product we have is perfect!
